Georgia Gets It Right

Last week, legislators in Georgia passed a Fetal Heartbeat law. Governor, Brian Kemp has indicated that, in the next few months, he’ll sign it. The law would ban abortions in Georgia as soon as a doctor can detect a fetal heartbeat, which generally happens at around six weeks into a pregnancy.

Critics of the law, liberals mostly, claim that most women don’t even know they’re pregnant at six weeks, and that such a law is an all-out assault on the reproductive health and safety of Georgia women.

First of all, let me clear up yet another commonly held liberal myth…abortion has little, if anything to do with “reproductive health.” Yes, there are cases where a woman’s health is threatened by a pregnancy…but Georgia has built in exceptions to the law in cases of rape or incest on the condition that the victim files a police report or someone files one on their behalf….and when a doctor determines the pregnancy would cause death or bodily harm to the mother or the fetus would not be able to live after birth.

In other words…

The reproductive health of the woman is covered by the law, so that’s a moot point.

Critics, liberals for the most part, also claim that “This cruel, unconstitutional bill is part of an extreme GOP agenda to strip freedoms from women and could not be further from the values that most Georgians hold,” according to Laura Simmons, director of NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia.

From back to front…recent polling indicates only 7 out of 20 Georgians believe abortion should be legal so most of Georgia’s Georges and Georgettes values are diametrically opposed to liberal values…and as far as being “Cruel?” Well…

Either liberals believe being pregnant, and giving birth is the height of cruelty, or they don’t see any cruelty in killing a baby. Obviously, being pregnant and giving birth is not cruel, but killing babies is so…there’s your liberal values right there.

Upon passage of the bill, Hollywood liberals, led by B-rate Alyssa Milano, went ballistic.

Milano is leading the call for all of Hollywood to boycott the state of Georgia if Governor Kemp signs the Fetal Heartbeat law. Apparently, several Hollywood productions are filmed in Georgia, because Georgia provides tax breaks for that sort of thing.

Georgians are now faced with quite the choice…they can either adopt liberal Hollywood’s sub-human values, or they can put children up for adoption.

As for losing the “right” to “Choose?”

Abortion is not a right, and there are still plenty of damn good choices a woman can make to avoid pregnancy altogether.

Hollywood is trying to hold Georgia hostage. Let them fold up their circus tents and leave…Georgia, you’re better of without the clowns and their dog and pony show.

Milano’s argument has nothing to do with rights, choice or morals…it’s based on money. Get paid in California, pay California taxes. Get paid in Georgia…pay Georgia taxes. Guess which taxes are less.

Choose life, not murder.
